The restaurant of El Fenn Boutique Hotel in Marrakech, is full of sofas and armchairs where to relax with a mojito, a grand piano surrounded by potted palms, arresting artworks and a menu showcasing the best of Moroccan and European dishes.
From outside, the structure is very similar to all the other ones in La Medina, but once you enter it, this place is simply amazing. First there is a beautiful boutique that sells a wide range of products from perfumes to traditional Moroccan pillows, blankets, jewelry and clothes. This is a typical concept store with an amazing selection that combines traditional taste with a European touch on it. Moving on, there is a little corner bar, where we were delighted with a delicious tea which was served in the immediate garden inside the hotel.
Time to eat. Following a very modern, open to the inner court, staircase with glass handrail, we reached the rooftop of the building and the view was simply breathtaking, overlooking the Atlas Mountains, as well as the Koutoubia Mosque. We trusted the fix lunch menu and the food was obviously different from what we are used to, but at the end a great experience.
