London with your girlfriends is always a good idea when you can take few days off. I often visit this city and I have to admit that every time is a true discovery. I like to variate my trips based on the month I am traveling, the weather, the company… and this particular weekend I focused on new restaurants, the Dior Haute Couture exhibition and of course a strict session of pre-summer shopping.
We picked a random hotel near Buckingham Palace definitely not worth it to share with you the details on it, enough to tell you, I had a clean bathroom and a bed. Thursday to Sunday is enough to enjoy the city at its best, the coolest restaurant are most likely packed, that is the reason why I booked everything in advance in order to be certain I would have make it everywhere. I will share here few of my favorite spots in terms of bars and restaurant even though London is constantly changing… it is hard to keep track on the new openings.
Dior showcase was incredible and totally worth it, it’s easy to catch this type of activity in capitals like this one, this is the reason why I always check calendars and museums events.
Notting Hill is always on my checklist, I love to go in the early afternoon so I can enjoy the sunset caress the colored townhouses. Vintage is a must when you visit London, wether we talk about clothes or home decors or jewelry… and more, try to pass by Piccadilly Circus and Covent Garden. Walk by the Big Ben, London Eye and Oxford Street are a must.
